About Hello Sunshine
Shannon is a former management consultant and owns the properties. She’s involved personally (like, with a tool belt on) for all the property remodels and handles primarily back-end property management and maintenance.
Shannon is a paraglider pilot in her free time and likes dark beer and strong coffee.
Yannick is a seasoned hotelier and hospitality guru. He’s managed many hotels including high end properties, and is one of our main guest communicators. Yannick speaks English, French and Spanish, among others!
Yannick enjoys a good cookout with his neighbors and likes to explore new cities.
Marnell owns a marketing agency and works with Hello Sunshine as a guest communicator. He’s your go-to guy for any questions or help needed during the stay, and is quick to respond.
Marnell’s a big family man and spends his free time with his kids. He likes to cook and go to concerts.
We specialize in short-term rentals in the Atlanta area, offering premier rentals targeted at large groups, families and work colleagues. Recognized by the largest booking platforms for superior service, we have maintained Airbnb Superhost status since 2016 continually and are also a VRBO premier partner, which is great – but not as great as you booking direct with us for the same product but none of the fees!
Aubrey & Shannon started the short-term rental journey super traditionally, hosting guests out of one bedroom in their personal home as a way to pay the mortgage. It was awesome! They loved meeting the interesting guests and showing them around our city, so then opened up a second bedroom in the house for rent. Fast forward a year, they are renovating a duplex home to both live in and share with guests. Somewhere in there, Aubrey figured out he was better at tech sales and decided to focus on that. Meanwhile, Shannon learned that she loves to renovate and build cool stuff, and quit consulting. After finding a couple folks to keep taking good care of guests, Yannick & Marnell, Shannon did “rinse and repeat” and kept renovating. Now there is a small collection of sweet properties – each one fully renovated and offering a unique, cool, guest-centric space that the Hello Sunshine team ourselves like to enjoy.
